Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Nephrology Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Robert J. Dole V Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope Nephrology clinical services, including:
  • Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
  • Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
  • End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD)
  • Fluid/electrolyte disorders
  • Hypertension
  • Nephrolithiasis
  • Management of kidney transplant patients
  • Oversight of all dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, PD, CRRT, PIRRT)
• Perform consults:
  • Bedside consults for non-ambulatory inpatients
  • Clinic consults for ambulatory patients
  • Schedule procedures within 30 days of consult date
• Manage medications in compliance with VA policies (no sample meds).
• Provide discharge and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next level of care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS
• NPI report printout
• Active DEA license
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
