Location: Joint Base Langley, VA

U.S. Got People (USGP) is excited to offer an opportunity for an Advanced Office Clerk to provide vital administrative support in the Emergency Department at Joint Base Langley, VA. This role supports our nation's military service members, veterans, and their families in a fast-paced and meaningful healthcare environment.

- Shifts available: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Typing: Must type a minimum of 50 words per minute
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably with scheduling
- Familiarity with office systems and workflows
- Medical Terminology: Basic knowledge required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Hepatitis B (series and titer)
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Varicella (Chickenpox)
• TB Test
• Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
• COVID-19 Vaccine (if applicable)
Primary Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to:
• Answering and directing calls, taking messages as needed
• Scheduling and managing medical appointments, verifying eligibility
• Supporting Primary Care Manager (PCM) team with appointment processing
• Maintaining and updating appointment schedules using government systems
• Updating patient demographics in CHCS and verifying information
• Coordinating appointment changes and cancellations
• Contacting patients for appointment scheduling or updates
• Assisting with referrals and specialty care coordination
• Managing and filing patient medical records
• Retrieving and organizing patient charts for upcoming appointments
• Participating in recordkeeping quality assurance and reporting
• Archiving/retiring records per regulatory guidelines
