Position Summary:
U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide high-quality healthcare services to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve those who serve us-within a professional federal medical setting.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate: $62.00/hour + Health and Welfare Stipend
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0630 to 1600

- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in any U.S. state or territory
- Certifications Required:
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - required for Emergency Medicine practice
- Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time experience within the past three years in an occupational medicine or similar clinical setting
- Hepatitis B (series and titer)
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- TB (Tuberculosis) test
- Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine
- COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)
- Deliver a full scope of Physician Assistant services in primary and specialty care, including acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all organ systems; perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications within scope
- Provide medical care for acute and chronic conditions, minor trauma, and recognize emergent conditions requiring immediate intervention or referral
- Promote wellness and preventive care through patient education, health screenings, immunizations, and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Participate in continuing medical education, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with Military Treatment Facility standards and electronic health records
- Stay informed about the MTF formulary and prescribe medications in accordance with approved protocols
