Clinical Psychologist - Full-Time
Location: MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL

Position Summary:
USGP is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health Department at MacDill AFB. This full-time role supports active duty service members, providing vital behavioral health services in a mission-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited institution
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
• DEA Registration: Required
• Experience: At least one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, with proficiency in psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or military equivalent
• Intermediate computer skills with ability to manage electronic records and data analysis tools

Immunization Requirements  (Must be current or able to obtain):

• Hepatitis B (series and titer)
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Varicella (Chickenpox)
• TB (Tuberculosis) test
• Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine
• COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological evaluations using interviews, testing, and collateral data
• Diagnose mental health disorders in accordance with the DSM
• Deliver individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy
• Support medical and surgical patients in coping with injury, illness, or rehabilitation needs
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences as a non-voting member
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in both outpatient and inpatient records
• Attend and participate in quality improvement activities and required professional training
• Collaborate with military leadership, legal entities, and community organizations as needed
• Adhere to all applicable professional standards and MTF credentialing requirements
